TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Jorge currently serves as Assistant Chief Engineer, primarily focusing on office and industrial properties. In this role, he supervises ongoing projects, construction and repairs. He performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines operate smoothly, building systems are efficient, and building conditions remain in top shape. Jorge also checks blueprints, schedules vendors for specific tasks, performs inspections, and ensures that life safety systems are up to code, functional, and readily available.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before rejoining Transwestern, Jorge was a Service Technician at Waychoff's Heating and Air. In this role, he performed installation, maintenance, service, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. Jorge diagnosed and troubleshot operational malfunctions and provided on-site servicing when possible.
 
Jorge also worked as a Vessel Transport Specialist at SeaVee Boats, where he safely loaded and unloaded vessels, transported them locally and over the road, and maintained excellent customer relationships. He was responsible for inspecting trucks for safe operating conditions and adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

EDUCATION

Jorge Diego attended George T. Baker Aviation Technical College. He is trained in maintaining safe work environments, mechanical systems, machinery, equipment, and electrical components. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
