Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Jason Jennaro is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FrontierGen, a Texas-based infrastructure development platform creating large-scale, infrastructure-ready campuses for AI data centers, advanced manufacturing and other power-intensive industries. He leads FrontierGen’s strategy to integrate high-capacity power, firm natural gas, water, fiber and developable land at strategic locations designed for rapid deployment, operational resilience, sustainable development and long-term scale. Following Transwestern’s strategic investment in FrontierGen, Jason is working with the firm to advance a portfolio of South Texas campuses positioned to support the next generation of digital and industrial growth. He is also the author of FrontierGen’s Barrels to Megawatts white paper, which examines how Texas’s energy and infrastructure networks can help power the AI economy.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Jason has spent his career building, investing in and scaling businesses at the intersection of energy, infrastructure and logistics. Before founding FrontierGen, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Breakwater Energy Partners, where he led the growth of a market-leading water recycling and infrastructure platform serving the Permian Basin. Breakwater became part of Select Water Solutions through a 2022 acquisition. Earlier, Jason founded and led Twin Eagle’s shale-focused logistics business, Twin Eagle Sand Logistics, which grew into one of the largest rail-to-shale logistics platforms in the United States. He previously served as Vice President in Lehman Brothers’ Commodity Principal Investment Group in New York, working on mergers, acquisitions and financings across the energy and natural resources sectors.
EDUCATION
Jason holds a MPA from Harvard University, an MBA from Georgetown University and bachelor’s degrees in economics and business administration from the University of Oregon. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, where he previously served as Board Chair.
