TRANSWESTERN ROLE

James is an Associate with Transwestern Ventures based in Houston. In this role, he is responsible for the sourcing, financial evaluation, and acquisition of target opportunities across all property sectors nationwide. As the opportunistic investment arm of the Transwestern companies, Ventures works synergistically with the firm’s services, development and investment management businesses, bringing capital, financial engineering and operational expertise to undervalued or undermanaged properties, enterprises and unique investment opportunities.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

James joined Transwestern in 2019 and served as an analyst for the national healthcare group for three years, working on both acquisitions and services. James assisted in the acquisition of value-add medical office buildings through underwriting, capital sourcing and market research analyzing US demographic and real estate trends.

EDUCATION

James received his bachelor’s degree Urban Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
