TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Henry Caldwell serves as a Property Administrator Transwestern Asset Services in Houston at the Ion, 4201 Main St. In this role, he supports leasing, tenant relations, and day-to-day operational coordination across complex, mixed-use environments. His work emphasizes collaboration with ownership, events team and tenants to ensure efficient operations, clear communication, and high-quality workplace experience.
Henry helps manage the Ion District, a 16-acre innovation district owned by Rice University and located in Midtown Houston. The district is designed to foster collaboration among entrepreneurs, corporations, academic institutions, and the Houston community.
Henry offices out of the Ion, a 266,000-square-foot mid-rise, multi-tenant office and event facility that anchors the district. Originally opened in 1939 as a Sears department store, the building was redeveloped and reopened in 2021 as The Ion, preserving its historic character while transforming it into a modern hub for innovation, research, and convening.

Henry contributes to the management of a high-profile, university-owned asset with a strong civic and economic development mission. Working closely with ownership representatives, events teams, construction partners, and vendors to support timely, cost effective project delivery and a high level of tenant service. Known for his collaborative and people oriented leadership style, he prioritizes emphasizing tenant engagement, operational excellence, and effective communication. Henry manages the building access control system, tenant app, work order system, and is responsible for
processing vendor AP.

EDUCATION
