Elena Aguilar

Elena Aguilar, ACoM® serves as Property Manager with Transwestern Asset Services, supporting the daily operations, tenant relations, and asset performance of The Ion District, Houston's premier innovation hub located in Midtown Houston. In her role, Elena works closely with ownership, tenants, vendors, and project teams to ensure operational excellence while delivering a best-in-class tenant experience. Known for her proactive approach, attention to detail, and solutions-oriented mindset, Elena consistently goes above and beyond to anticipate needs, strengthen tenant relationships, and support the strategic objectives of ownership.

Elena began her career in commercial real estate management with a focus on operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, and property performance. Throughout her career, she has supported Class A commercial office properties and collaborated closely with ownership groups, tenants, vendors, and construction teams to ensure seamless building operations.

She has contributed to tenant improvement projects across 8.4 million square feet of Class A office space, including the transformation of an outdoor courtyard into a dynamic tenant amenity featuring landscaped gathering areas, outdoor dining, flexible event space, and collaborative environments designed to enhance the workplace experience, and supported the delivery of move-in-ready and ready-right-away spaces.

Elena is an active member of the commercial real estate community. She is involved with IREM, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Fashion Show Committee. She is also a member of Houston BOMA and participates in the Women in BOMA Committee, supporting professional development, networking, and industry engagement initiatives throughout Houston’s commercial real estate market.

Elena received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.
