Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Dave is the Chief Engineer overseeing multiple class A office towers in downtown Minneapolis and the greater metro area. He works closely with on-site and regional management teams to support high-performing buildings, including 50 South 6th St., 60 South 6th St., and The Dayton’s Project. His responsibilities include staffing and training, maintenance planning, building system performance management, and driving operational improvements. Dave plays a key role in evaluating building systems, planning major repairs and capital replacements, and implementing efficiency initiatives that reduce energy consumption and extend equipment life.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Dave has 20 years of experience in the Minnesota engineering market, and he started at Transwestern in 2023. Dave is committed to developing strong engineering teams and empowering staff to be proactive, knowledgeable, and responsive to the unique needs of each property. Before his current role, Dave worked at 50 South 6th St. as the Chief Engineer, where he worked to achieve LEED Gold and WELL Health Safety certifications.
Before joining Transwestern, Dave worked as a Chief Engineer for Newmark. He worked at the Designers Guild Building and LaSalle Plaza, excelling at building operations and sustainability efforts. Additionally, with help from Dave, Lasalle Plaza and Wells Fargo Plaza were both finalists for the BOMA TOBY international award.
