Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Courtney is the Property Manager for the Richard J. Daley Center, a 1.5 million-square-foot courthouse and office building in Chicago. Courtney’s role includes overseeing day-to-day operations, procurement, contract management, negotiation, inspections, monthly financial reporting and budget preparation. Courtney is also responsible for the operations of the building’s plaza. She works with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with minority- and women-owned business requirements and health and safety initiatives. Furthermore, Courtney assists with building and tenant improvement projects while maintaining the highest level of tenant and client satisfaction.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Courtney has held several roles in her property management career. Prior to joining the team at the Daley Center, she served as an Assistant Property Manager for a 1.3 million-square-foot building, where she prepared aged account receivable reports, maintained and updated effective cleaning programs, assisted with monthly reports and annual budgets, and communicated with property ownership, construction managers and contractors. She has also worked as a Tenant Services Coordinator at a 1.2 million-square-foot property, where she oversaw the tenant relations budget and managed front office operations, including memo distribution, maintaining tenant and vendor files and sending information to tenants about building news and events.

Since joining Transwestern, Courtney has been an active member of the Transwestern Chicago Youth Outreach committee. Through volunteering at schools and community-led organizations in the Chicagoland area, Courtney exposes youth to careers in commercial real estate.

EDUCATION

Courtney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds a real estate license in the state of Illinois.
