Los Angeles volunteers with TutorMate met their pupils in person for the first time at the end of the school year. The volunteers and students worked on activity books and shared snacks to celebrate a successful 2018-2019 program. The team members brought donations of office supplies and goodie bags for the class and teacher, and received handmade thank you cards from the children. Team members in Houston, Atlanta and Los Angeles have worked with TutorMate for the past five years, helping local elementary students with reading and comprehension through a web-based portal.
