Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Bonnie serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Operations of Transwestern’s Asset Services in the Midwest region, which currently includes over 40 million square feet of Transwestern’s managed portfolio of office, industrial retail and mixed-use assets. Bonnie oversees all operational aspects of the portfolio and provides critical support to property teams and clients, including KBS, Beacon Capital Properties, Rialto, LNR, STRS, Sumitomo and Transwestern Investment Group. Bonnie is a known industry leader with experience managing all classes of assets, from ground-up developments to over 100-year-old historic properties. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Bonnie has been active in commercial real estate for more than 20 years and has managed several properties successfully through redevelopments, dispositions, acquisitions, receiverships and seamless management transitions.  As part of the Transwestern team, Bonnie has shared her extensive experience in people management, talent development, financial reporting, construction management, property transitions, physical operations, lease administration, long-range planning and contract management. Bonnie has mentored countless rising stars throughout her career and worked closely with each property team member on developing and executing meaningful goals that incorporate the client’s strategy for each property.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern in 2019, Bonnie worked for commercial real estate firms including Sterling Bay, The John Buck Company, Zeller Realty and Cushman & Wakefield.

EDUCATION

Bonnie holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Illinois and holds the BOMI Real Property Administrator and RPA-High Performance designations.
