Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Bob is currently responsible for the management of SPS Tower, a class A premier office building located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Bob takes a management approach that incorporates many of the same principles that 5-star hotels use and understands that the real estate business has transitioned to a hospitality business with a focus on the customer experience not just the bricks and mortar.  Bob also thinks and acts like an owner in his strategic positioning of an asset to best maximize return.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Bob’s professional experience include 6 years in various financial roles including Controller for a medium size full service real estate company, which required preparation of financial statements and the filing of the annual tax returns.  Bob then transitioned to management when the company he worked for (Frauenshuh Companies) developed LaSalle Plaza (a 600,000 sf class A mixed use project) and needed someone with strong financial skills to manage the very complex structure of the project. He managed LaSalle for 8 years before he took on the management of Fifth Street Towers (a 1.2 million sf twin tower class A building) for 3 years.  He then accepted a position in 2000 to manage the 655,000 sf SPS Tower and recently joined the Transwestern team to continue managing SPS Tower after the sale of the building. Bob has worked with several owners and Asset Managers over a 30+ year career in commercial real estate.  Bob is a motivated and organized manager who combines his excellent ability to build tenant relationships with proven financial, administration and supervisory skills.
