TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Amy is the Property Manager for The McCormick Building, a 20-story, 348,890-square-foot office tower located at 332 S. Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago. She serves as an expert leader for the building’s management team, assisting with capital projects, tenant construction, accounting issues, service contract negotiations and building/tenant issues. Amy also acts as a liaison between building owners and Transwestern, helping on-site property staff understand and achieve ownership objectives.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Amy has been with The McCormick Building since 2025 and has been instrumental in guiding operations at the building. During her tenure at the property, Amy and her team have stabilized the property's value while in receivership through disciplined day-to-day operations, strong vendor relationships, skillful expense management and consistent tenant communication. Amy played a key role in positioning the property for a successful sale by supporting due diligence efforts and presenting the asset in a well-managed condition.
Amy has a strong background in managing commercial assets effectively to maximize value and meet strategic property goals. Prior to joining Transwestern, she worked at McCaffery Interests Inc., where she was a project manager before transitioning into property management. She managed operations for a Class A office building in Chicago and two commercial properties in Washington D.C., ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction and effective communication with owners.

EDUCATION
Amy earned her bachelor’s degree from Butler University. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.
