TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Tim leads the Sports & Entertainment advisory group at Transwestern, which focuses on three areas – acquisition of property and land, deal sourcing for high-net-worth individuals, including athletes and team owners, and tenant advisory and brokerage services for sports teams, leagues and related media groups. By partnering with Transwestern’s various commercial real estate services teams, Tim is able to capitalize on new opportunities and execute high-quality deals across the sports, entertainment and technology sectors nationwide.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

With more than a decade of experience, Tim is a cross-functional integrator who brings to Transwestern a long-term mindset and a deep understanding of the sports and entertainment ecosystem. As Special Advisor and Consultant to Overtime, Tim helped lead the creation of Overtime Elite (OTE), a transformative new professional sports league that offers the world’s most talented young basketball players a better pathway to skill development and compensation while inspiring a new generation of fans. Tim led the development of OTE from idea to launch, including planning, fundraising strategy, and development of a state-of-the-art, 103,000-square-foot basketball performance and training facility in the heart of Atlanta.
 
Tim co-founded the Global Sports Venture Studio (GSVS) in 2018 with the Los Angeles Dodgers and R/GA Ventures as a way to empower leaders in sport to build and invest in the future. GSVS clients included C-level executives from adidas, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Fox Sports, Levy Restaurants, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the National Hockey League, Octagon and UEFA. In his free time, Tim makes a positive impact on the next generation of sports business decision-makers as a guest professor at Long Island University’s Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment.
