TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Stayton joined Transwestern in 2016. As vice president, Stayton specializes in representing the interests of office and industrial space users and occupiers.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Stayton was Managing Principal of Cresa Austin where he focused on tenant representation. In total he has 19 years of commercial real estate experience representing a variety of clients.  He has represented Fortune 500 companies, national growth companies to local startups. Through a consultative approach, he advises clients on real estate strategies that align with overall organizational goals and financial objectives. Those services include strategic planning, site selection, and lease/contraction negotiations. 
 
Stayton’s recent transactions include Oracle Americas (1,000,000 SF, multiple transactions including BTS, land acquisition, building purchase, and lease acquisition and disposition), Ticom Geomatics (83,000 SF, both office and flex acquisition), Ottobock (38,000 SF, North American headquarter relocation), Wincor Nixdorf (34,000 SF, North American headquarters relocation), HootCall (38,000 SF, headquarter and call center acquisition), Cylance (10,500 SF, new Austin office), Focus Brands (13,000 SF disposition), PolyDyne Software (10,000 SF acquisition), Wiss Janney & Elster (14,500 SF design build), Moodmedia (15,000 SF, acquisition).

EDUCATION

Stayton received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas.
