TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Paul Garancis serves as senior managing director of Transwestern Investment Group (TIG) overseeing all aspects of the portfolio and asset management processes including coordinating with the acquisitions team to qualify assets that meet the clients’ investment criteria as well as driving the execution of the annual asset performance plans through the oversight of the asset management, investment sales, leasing and management teams.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Paul has over 28 years of experience in real estate having actively been involved with the acquisition, asset management, development and disposition of over $6 billion of commercial real estate investments during his career. Utilizing his extensive volume of experience, Paul is able to focus on the key drivers and implement action plans to create value in clients’ investments. Prior to joining Transwestern, he was a Regional Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management for Archon, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. During his 15 year tenure with Archon, Paul was responsible for using innovative approaches to maximize asset potential and mitigate risk. His oversight covered acquisitions and asset management for office, retail and industrial assets, and developing and executing disposition strategies for $1 billion of assets. Prior to joining Archon, Paul was with Lowe Enterprises and MetLife, where he held a variety of responsibilities including acquisitions, asset management, loan workouts, and the management of joint ventures.

Paul is an active member of The Real Estate Council, and The University of Wisconsin Real Estate Association.

EDUCATION

Paul received a B.B.A in Real Estate & Finance from the University of Wisconsin ’ Madison and a MBA from Southern Methodist University.
