TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Eric serves as National Director for Transwestern’s Healthcare Advisory Services Group. He is responsible for overseeing the leasing, tenant advisory, investment sales and development for healthcare clients across the country. He has over 23 years of experience in healthcare real estate and has been consistently recognized as one of Transwestern’s top national producers.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Eric has worked with a variety of institutional owners, including Ascension Health, Memorial Hermann Hospital System, Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, Health Care Properties, Inc. and The Texas Medical Center Corporation.
 
Eric has completed transactions with Baylor College of Medicine, MD Anderson, The Texas Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Health System, St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System, Texas Children’s Hospital, Texas Orthopedic Hospital, University of Texas Health Science Services and Kelsey Seybold Clinic. Eric’s healthcare team has preleased over 800,000 square feet of speculative medical office space in new development projects in the past five years.
 
Under his direct supervision, the Houston Healthcare Investment Sales Team has closed 35 medical assets totaling 2.1 Million Square Feet of hospitals, surgical hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratories and general purpose medical office buildings over the past three years. The cumulative value of these sales transactions totaled over $500 million.
 
His team is currently handling the leasing and brokerage for the Texas Medical Center Corporation’s TMC3 project, a biomedical research hub that will cluster researchers and industry experts together on a collaborative 30-acre campus. TMC3will unite the brightest minds in life sciences in one place for one purpose: to translate fundamental discoveries into commercial solutions to advance human health. The campus integrates leading researchers with a host of top-tier expertise from the private sector. The TMC3 founding institutions are Texas Medical Center, Baylor College of Medicine, Texas A&M University Health Science Center, The University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth) and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Under Eric’s supervision, Transwestern will provide development and pre leasing services for Phase I of this project estimated to commence in 2019.

EDUCATION

Eric received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. 
 
Eric serves on Transwestern's National Board of Directors.
 
Eric also serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Hearing and Speech (CHS) and The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
