TRANSWESTERN ROLE

With more than 15 years of engineering and mechanical experience, Daniel brings a broad range of expertise to Transwestern. As the Director of Engineering for the Southeast Region, he supervises all building maintenance, coordinates tenant build-outs, directs all maintenance-engineering staff, and is referred to as an expert on numerous engineering issues.
 
Additionally, Daniel is responsible for the implementation of operating procedures and substantial projects such as mechanical retrofits. He conducts physical site inspections, annual audits, compiles due diligence reporting on technical and operational issues, and provides capital improvement recommendations on new property acquisitions and takeovers. He also works directly with property management to implement and maintain the energy systems and sustainability initiatives requested by his owner clients.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Daniel was the Lead Engineer for Hines at the Atlanta Financial Center.  In this role, Daniel designed, installed and programmed a complete retrofit digital BAS for 3 central plants, 6 centrifugal chillers, 54 AHU’s and the associated PIU and VAV boxes for 1.1 million square feet of Class A office building.  In addition, he was responsible for an annual utility budget of $1.5 million dollars.  He became known in the area as a building automation, expert and highly experienced in project and construction management.
