TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Brooks is responsible for the underwriting and execution of capital markets transactions for healthcare owners. Outside of transactions, he also serves as a strategic advisor on a 17 million square foot healthcare portfolio evaluating all aspects of optimizing a real estate portfolio including development initiatives, cost saving measures and location analysis.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Brooks has executed over $150 million of healthcare transactions for his clients including health systems and third-party investors. Brooks has been active in the healthcare space since 2017 with a client list that includes Baylor Scott & White Health, Healthpeak Properties, Welltower, the Texas Medical Center and others. Previously, Brooks worked as an acquisition analyst with an opportunistic real estate investment fund that primarily invested in life science and industrial assets.

Brooks received a Master of Real Estate, Real Estate Finance from Texas A&M University and his Bachelor of Science, Accounting and Finance, from the University of Arkansas.
