Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Blake serves as Chief Operating Officer, Healthcare Advisory Services, providing national strategic leadership for the healthcare and life sciences activities of Transwestern Real Estate Services. He also directs the acquisition, development and asset management of healthcare property investments across the United States in close coordination with Transwestern Investment Group and Transwestern Development Company.   

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, he was a founding partner of MedSite Partners, a private venture focused on healthcare real estate investments. Prior to MedSite, Blake spent 15 years with Hines acquiring, managing and selling commercial property investments in U.S. and international markets on behalf of private and institutional clients. His experience includes establishing and executing value add and core strategies over assets totaling 17.2 million square feet and valued at over $4 billion. Blake serves on the foundation board and operating fund Investment Committee of Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, the Board of Directors of NAIOP, and is engaged in numerous charitable organizations.

EDUCATION

Blake received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
