OAKLAND, Calif. – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces it has been retained to provide property management services for Old Oakland, a unique gem of late 19th Century architecture and rejuvenated city culture. The 238,036-square-foot mixed-use portfolio spans Eighth to 10th Streets between Broadway and Washington, encompassing 10 buildings.
Old Oakland is home to local businesses including Beast Mode Apparel, Blue Bottle Coffee and ThredUp, along with nonprofit tenants Casey Family Programs and Promise Network Inc. Transwestern and the building owner, 11 West Partners, are committed to keeping the local-oriented atmosphere by recruiting Oakland native Sarah Fox to lead the project’s management team.

Fox is an industry veteran of 10 years. She previously managed a 240,000-square-foot portfolio of historic commercial and residential properties for the Bently Family in San Francisco and Nevada, and she is the vice chair of BOMA San Francisco’s Historic Buildings Committee. She is joined by Nancy Le, who brings seven years of experience with commercial real estate portfolios throughout the Bay Area.
