Responsible for Engineering Services Across Firms 18.8 MSF Portfolio in Region

LOS ANGELES –Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces the hiring of Kevin Strobel as the Director of Engineering for the Southern California Region. He is responsible for all engineering operations, technical support, and energy reduction and building sustainability programs across Transwestern’s 18.8-million-square-foot portfolio of assets in the region.
Additionally, Strobel will manage the implementation of Transwestern’s engineering operating procedures throughout the region, including team members’ safety training and continuing education, and ensure corporate goals are supported from an engineering perspective. Strobel will oversee assets across Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, the Inland Empire and Las Vegas. He will also be involved in new business development activities as the firm expands its portfolio across office, life sciences, healthcare, multifamily and industrial properties.

Strobel has more than 20 years of engineering experience. Prior to joining Transwestern, he was a Portfolio Chief Engineer at ABM Industries, responsible for managing a three-building complex comprised of more than one million square feet of Class A office space. He previously held engineering roles at CBRE, Equity Office Properties and Manulife Real Estate. He graduated from the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 501 as a BOMA Certified Journeyman Engineer.
