Sterling, VA – Transwestern today announces it represented indoor adventure park ZAVAZONE in a 34,000-square-foot lease at 45685 Oakbrook Court in Sterling, Virginia, for its second location. ZAVAZONE first opened in Rockville in April 2016 and is currently negotiating several franchise arrangements outside the Washington metro area. Transwestern Senior Vice President Ethan Bernardi and Vice President Nathan Bortnick represented ZAVAZONE in the transactions in both Sterling and Rockville.
“ZAVAZONE has experienced incredible success since opening its doors in Rockville last year,” said Bortnick. “Sterling has strong demographics, and the location is near a popular volleyball court, essentially creating a recreational destination for the area.”
Founded by Josh Oboler and Joe Henry of Washington, D.C., ZAVAZONE is a first-of-its-kind indoor adventure park that combines multiple family entertainment activities – obstacle courses, climbing walls, ropes courses and trampolines – all under one roof. Expected to open on November 4, the entire facility is equipped with Wi-Fi and offers lounges for parents.
“ZAVAZONE was born out of frustration,” said Oboler. “My business partner Joe and I both have kids, and we were tired of hearing them argue about what to do in their spare time. It was impossible to find one place that had something for everyone. ZAVAZONE solves that problem by providing a variety of fun, safe activities for all ages and abilities.”
