TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Will Frankum is a Vice President within the Agency Leasing team out of Transwestern’s Atlanta office. He and his team are responsible for marketing and leasing a wide variety of office assets on behalf of their clients, including high-rise towers, mid-rise buildings, low rise business parks, and build-to-suit developments. Will’s day to day focus is production, centered around prospecting for active deals in the market, executing transactions, and interfacing with the office user, economic development, and brokerage community.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern was a Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) where he was on the Multifamily Finance Team within the Capital Markets Division. Will worked at JLL for two summer internships and 3.5 years full-time. His team was responsible for originating 50+ multifamily loans per year, totaling $1+ Billion in multifamily loan volume annually.  Will held three positions within JLL; starting out as an analyst, moving to associate, then becoming a full producer as Vice President. His team covered the Southeast and followed clients to markets throughout the country. At JLL, Will was a multifamily specialist and originated loans on behalf of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and represented more than 100 additional lenders. His team was responsible for multifamily debt and structured finance including acquisitions, recapitalization and equity sourcing.
 
While at JLL, Will was selected to be in the JLL Young Guns Program and was in The JLL Next Generation Program. Young Guns identified talented individuals who are revenue generators for the firm at a young age. The Next Generation Program identified individuals that could eventually step into leadership roles at the top level and lead the firm in revenue/management/corporate decisions.

EDUCATION

Will graduated from The University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate. He played on the UGA club golf team (ranked #1 nationally), was a member and officer of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and was involved with The Real Estate Society and The Finance Society within The Terry College of Business.
