Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Wendy serves on the national operations team and identifies opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations, facilitate project development, and drive strategic, innovative change activities required to maintain/improve company operations and competitiveness and meet the needs of stakeholders. She is a multi-purpose team leader and drives the evaluation, planning and implementation of new operations projects and strategic Transwestern initiatives under the guidance of the Executive Managing Director of Asset Services. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Wendy brings 25 years of operations experience to Transwestern which translates to her multidisciplinary approach to addressing the day-to-day challenges of commercial property management. She served in various operations roles at Metro National Corp. for 14 years which included risk management, safety & health programs and training development, office property sustainability programs including LEED certifications, utility conservation programs, emergency response and notification programs, business continuity planning, telecommunication infrastructure management, and vendor management. Prior positions at USI Insurance Services and Covington Safety Group were risk management-based and included safety program development, training, inspections, and OSHA-related activities.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Wendy currently holds the ACoM (Accredited Commercial Manager), ARM (Associate in Risk Management), LEED AP O+M (LEED Accredited Professional Operations + Maintenance), and CISR (Commercial Insurance Service Representative) designations. She is also a CPM (Certified Property Manager) Candidate.

EDUCATION

Wendy earned her bachelor of science degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama
