Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Tim has been with Transwestern for 24 years and is the chief engineer at Metro Park, a portfolio of seven Class A office buildings totaling over 1.15 million square feet in Northern Virginia. Tim is responsible for the supervision of daily operations and maintenance functions on the properties, as well as construction management of tenant build-outs.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Prior to joining Transwestern, Tim served as an assistant building engineer at Smithy Braedon Property Company. He began his career at Annandale Balancing Company, where he served as an air balancing technician, prepared as-built drawings, and created HVAC system performance profiles in buildings with missing or incomplete mechanical drawings.

EDUCATION
Tim completed an apprenticeship program in HVAC Systems at Northern Virginia Community College and has completed numerous specialized technical training courses with The National Association of Power Engineers, Trane, Carrier, Siemens and McQuay. He has a CFC universal certification from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. He is also a a LEED® Green Associate, National Fire Protection Association level 2 Fire Fighter, with Level 1 Hazmat and Heavy Tactical Rescue certifications.
