Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Theresa manages a portfolio of 3 million square feet of commercial properties in the Greater Denver area. She is responsible for the supervision of day-to-day operations, tenant construction, capital expense projects, and bidding and contracting vendors. Theresa also oversees Transwestern Denver’s property management teams in conjunction with René Wineland.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Theresa has over 30 years of comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate operations, budget compilation, financial reporting, and construction management. Working with a diverse group of institutional and private capital owners, she has completed multimillion-dollar tenant and capital improvements over several years and markets.
 
She has built strong relationships with owners, tenants, contractors, and vendors throughout Denver and other cities as she continues to grow Transwestern Denver’s property management portfolio and team.
 
Previously, Theresa was an Associate Director, where she managed a portfolio of 6 million square feet in Denver and a staff of over 50 administrative and engineering professionals.  In addition, she served as the General Manager for a 650,000 square-foot Class A office complex in Phoenix, Arizona and an 850,000 square-foot Class A office park in La Jolla, California. She has worked for several institutional owners including Morgan Stanley, Invesco, Equity Office, Principal Investors, and GE Capital.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Theresa is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

EDUCATION

Theresa graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Development and has received her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation. She also holds real estate licenses for Colorado and Arizona.
