Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Steven is an engineer for the National Housing Center, a 231,433-square-foot office building in Washington, D.C. He works with property managers and the engineering team to maintain energy management and mechanical systems and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Steven joined Transwestern in 2004 as a General Utility team member at the National Housing Center. His duties have varied widely, from responding to service requests, replacing lamps and ballasts, performing restroom PMs, changing filters, greasing bearings, cleaning cooling towers and assisting the Chief and Maintenance mechanic. 
 
Steven began his career in the building operating industry in 1989 as a Day Porter with Lincoln Company, where he assisted with preventative maintenance, lite plumbing maintenance and many other aspects of the trade.
