Stephen Thompson joined Perseus as vice president of construction in October 2014. His primary area of responsibility is administering mixed use construction projects in the Washington, DC region.


Stephen has over 35 years of construction and development experience in the Washington, DC area. He served as senior construction manager with Hines Interest LLP and as assistant vice president with Archstone in the construction of The Apartments at City Center in Washington, DC.  While at Archstone, Stephen assisted in the successful construction of The Wisconsin Place Apartments in Bethesda, MD, Lofts 590 Apartments in Arlington, VA and Alban Towers Apartments in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Archstone, Stephen worked at The Charles E. Smith Companies administering construction of several development sites consisting of office buildings, hotel, retail, apartments and associated tenant fit-out.


Stephen is a 1982 graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a BS degree in Building Construction.
