Shawndra D. Herry is a project manager for Transwestern's Construction Management Services in Washington, D.C. She oversees all aspects of tenant relocations, build-outs, landlord oversight work and capital improvement projects for a variety of clients.


Prior to joining Transwestern in 2017, Shawndra served as the director of experiences in Architecture at The Catholic University of America, where she was responsible for overall program coordination and administration, including curriculum development, budgeting and liaising with other departments within the university system.  Her background includes extensive international travel and experience advising business in developing countries to maximize tourism assets for sustainable economic growth to stay competitive in the global marketplace.
She previously worked as a program director at the consulting firm Solimar International, where she developed, implemented and managed programs and projects on a global scale from start to finish. She also worked for the Grassroots Business Fund; the International Finance Corporation; and the Peace Corps.

Shawndra holds Master's degrees in Architecture and Sustainable Design from The Catholic University of America; a Master's in Tourism Development and Administration from The George Washington University; and bachelor's degrees in French and international business from Loyola University Maryland.
