TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Sam serves as the Director of Workplace Strategy, working in the Midwest region and nationally to execute real estate and workplace and portfolio strategies that are rooted in clients’ business needs. She collaborates with brokers and clients alike to analyze data and predict the nuances of work styles and desired functional interactions in order to advise on methods to drive efficiency, increase productivity and accomplish business goals. Sam has a big-picture, people-first approach and a proven ability to turn ideas into practical application and execution to build the best outcome for employees, customers and clients.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Sam was the Global Head of Facilities and Services at Citadel in Chicago, where she was responsible for all associate services across Citadel’s 2.5 million square foot portfolio. While there, Sam integrated a new recruiting and meeting management model, a new dining strategy, an employee experience communication model and IT equipment solutions. Before Citadel, she was the Senior Director of Workplace Experience at Capital One, where she was instrumental in the development of multiple new functions, including a shared services organization for corporate real estate services and the first associate experience app.

EDUCATION

Sam received her bachelor’s degree in communications and anthropology from East Carolina University.
