Sam currently oversees Transwestern’s Orange County, San Diego, Nevada and Inland Empire Asset Services platforms, consisting of approximately 19 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties. With over 18 years of experience in commercial real estate, Sam specializes in business development, lease negotiations, client relations, tenant retention and asset stabilization for both institutionally and privately owned commercial real estate properties.


Since joining Transwestern, Sam has been instrumental in growing the Orange County/Inland Empire platforms. As vice president, Sam was responsible for managing over four million square feet of product in Southern California and Nevada. Prior to Transwestern, Sam was a senior leasing/property manager and assistant vice president at RREEF/Deutsche Bank. In this role, he oversaw the management of an industrial portfolio in the South Bay along with a team of brokers and property management staff. His responsibilities included tenant renewals, budget creation and implementation, strategic property planning, vendor management and overseeing all capital improvements. His team completed an average of 60 leasing transactions per year and consistently outperformed the market on rental growth. Under his management, Kingsley Associates awarded the portfolio high scores on both Tenant Responses and Tenant Satisfaction.
Sam previously served on the corporate services team at Coldwell Banker Commercial Westmac, where he specialized in office and industrial tenant representation. Sam conducted lease negotiations, assisted in facility acquisitions/dispositions and administered lease and market analyses for a number of corporate clients including Danone, La Brea Bakery and the State of California.


Sam is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has previously served as chair of the national education committee as well as Orange County chapter president. Sam received the National Asset Services Award at the 2018 Transwestern National Recognition Conference


Sam received his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and a licensed real estate professional in the state of California.
