Robert is the chief engineer at 1155 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., a 96,000 square foot Class    "C +" office building, located in Washington, D.C.  Robert is responsible for the daily operating and maintenance functions along with construction management of tenant build-outs.


Robert has 27 years of experience in the engineering field for commercial properties.  Prior to joining Transwestern, Robert was a Maintenance Mechanic for Smithy Braedon Company and a Lead Engineer for the Cafritz Company.  Robert also worked on the facility management team at Maden Tech Consulting, Inc., a government contractor to the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA).  Following Maden Tech Consulting, Robert joined CSI Engineering, as a Project Manager on design build project for the telecom industry.  He managed the designs of mission critical facilities for some of the largest computer hotel/ web-hosting groups across the United States.
Robert returned to the commercial management field in 2001, securing the Chief Engineer's position at ETRADE Tower, 420 North Glebe Road, a 200,000 square foot Class "A" office building.


Robert attended Charles County Community College where he completed his five year apprenticeship in HVAC.  Robert currently holds Maryland 3rd Class Stationary Engineers, and Apprentice HVAC Licenses and Universal CFC Certification from Environmental Training Group, Inc.
