Robert is responsible for providing investment services (acquisition, disposition and recapitalization) and real-estate investment banking services (debt financing and equity investments) to institutional and private real estate investors. Robert specializes primarily in the medical office and clinical healthcare real estate sectors.


Robert has over 25 years of experience as a finance and real estate professional with a focus in acquisition, valuation and analysis of real estate assets. Prior to joining Transwestern, Robert began his career in banking in 1989, the majority of which was at Guaranty Bank of Dallas. He was in charge of loan production for Colorado and Kansas from 1996 to 1999 originating over $500 million in commercial real estate loans over that time period. After banking, he founded Core Companies, Inc. (formally Capital Development) a real estate brokerage, development and advisory group which specialized in commercial property brokerage, and raising capital for large scale development projects. At its peak, Core was a 29 person company that brokered over $1.0 Billion in real estate transactions and was actively involved in the development and management of approximately 650,000 square feet of commercial property.
In 2010, Robert joined Victory Healthcare and became a Senior Executive and Board Member, helping navigate the company's rapid growth from one to eight medical campus's over a five year period. These facilities were anchored by micro-hospitals with the majority having adjoining medical office space. Robert's key responsibilities included oversight of real estate leasing, acquisitions and development including private capital raises and bank financing.

Robert received a bachelor's degree in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
