Randy currently oversees engineering functions of the Mountain Region, with focus on Granite Tower; a 600,000 square foot office tower and 300,000 square feet of subterranean parking. He is also responsible for operation, maintenance and allocating usage costs of an 1900 ton chiller water plant that serves Granite Tower, The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Residence XXV, Apartments at Denver Place and the True Fit Athletic Club.
Randy has over 34 years of engineering experience. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2010 he held a Senior Chief Engineer position with Granite Properties in Denver. During his tenure with Granite Properties he completed over 6 million dollars in upgrades some of which were a new fire alarm system, a 15 car elevator modernization project, installation of a new energy management system, curtain wall reseal, installation of new sidewalks, garage concrete remediation and installed variable frequency drives on most of the large equipment at Granite Tower, applied for and received over $214,000.00 in demand side management reimbursement money from Xcel Energy.

1981-1982 Emily Griffith Opportunity College in Denver majoring in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning, Randy currently holds a Stationary Engineers Certificate, Refrigeration Operators Certificate, and carries the EPA Refrigerant Transition and Recovery, Certified "Universal" card, NFPA Certified Fire Inspector, System Maintenance Technician, "SMT" Designation, System Maintenance Administrator, "SMA" Designation, and is a Real Property Administrator, "RPA".
