TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Rachel is a Property Manager in Transwestern’s New York office, with responsibility for the management and operation of 254 West 34th Street and 9 East 38th Street.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Rachel was an Assistant Property Manager with Nightingale Properties in New York, NY, where she assisted in the operations of 400,000 square feet of office space. She oversaw all financial matters for the properties, including creating and implementing annual budgets, monthly and quarterly variance reports, executive summary submissions, bi-weekly check runs, and monthly tenant collections efforts. Previously, she was a Property Manager with Vornado/Charles E Smith (now JBG Smith) in Arlington, VA, responsible for the day-to-day operations and financial management of 800,000 square feet of office space.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Rachel holds Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) licenses and is a member of New York’s Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Commercial Real Estate Women  Network (CREW). She was honored as one of IREM’s national “30 Under 30” recipients in 2017 and received a TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) award for managing 201 12th Street in South Arlington, VA.

EDUCATION

Rachel earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from George Mason University.
