Phil specializes in professional portfolio advisory services and representation of the real estate needs of corporate clients, nonprofits, public sector and high technology firms. He is an expert at forming and managing strategic alliances, strategic planning, and in tenant representation. Phil provides organizational leadership for the Midwest corporate advisory services group and serves as The National Head of Transwestern's Education Advisory Group. In addition, Phil recently returned from a yearlong secondment with BNParibas Real Estate in London and performs the liaison role between Transwestern and BNParibas Real Estate. 


Formerly Managing Director of real estate services for Mesirow Stein, Phil was also a Principal of The John Buck Company, where he led the Corporate Services Group. In addition, he has served as Vice President in the corporate relocation group for the former LaSalle Partners in Chicago and New York City. Phil also worked for the IBM Corporation in a variety of marketing and executive positions including Large Systems Branch Manager in New York City and Manager of IBM'S Executive Development Programs.


Phil is on the Transwestern Board of Directors, and is a member of Corenet, Global Development Relief Partners (Rwanda), The Executive's Club of Chicago, Leadership Greater Chicago and he is Chair of the Union Church of Hinsdale Board of Trustees. Phil was previously Vice Chair of Infinitec Board of Directors, Vice Chair of United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago Board of Directors, Chairman of The Heartland Alliance for Human Rights and Needs President Council, and a member of Perspectives Charter School Board of Directors.

Phil received his BS in marketing and organizational behavior from Miami University of Ohio, and completed extensive management programs while at IBM.
