FlORHAM PARK, N.J. – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces Douglas Rowe has joined the firm’s New Jersey office as Vice President. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Rowe will focus primarily on office leasing and sales.
“We were extremely impressed with Doug’s success in the New Jersey market, along with his dedication to client service and excellence, which has led to many longstanding partnerships in the industry,” said James Postell, TCS Partner and City Leader. “We’re excited to welcome Doug to the Transwestern family and confident he will bring immediate value to our current and prospective clients.”
With a proven track record on behalf of both tenants and landlords, Rowe previously worked at American Properties Commercial. Prior to that, Rowe served at Colliers International for 16 years. Rowe is intimately familiar with the trends driving the New Jersey office and industrial markets and has worked on behalf of marquee brands including American Express, United Airlines and State Farm Insurance.
The addition of Rowe comes on the heels of several executive hires in the firm’s New Jersey office, including Robert Vicci, who joined TCS as Senior Vice President to grow the firm’s property management services throughout the Northeast, as well as several associate hires.
“It’s an exciting time for Transwestern, and I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to work alongside the company’s talented sales and leasing teams,” said Rowe. “As New Jersey’s office sector resurges, I look forward to partnering with our clients to achieve their real estate objectives.”
The office sector revitalization was bolstered by large transactions consisting of renewals, expansions and relocations, while a multitude of new, mid-sized leases throughout the region helped balance the market. The most active submarkets in Northern New Jersey included Newark, Bergen North, Meadowlands, Hudson Waterfront and Morristown Region, while Somerset/Interstate 78 East, Princeton Area, Route 287 South and Monmouth East led the pack in Central New Jersey.
Rowe graduated from Adelphi University and holds several professional affiliations including The Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) and Morris County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC).
