FLORHAM PARK, N.J – Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS) today announces the New Jersey chapter of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) has recognized 180 Park Ave. in Florham Park with The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award for best-managed building in the 100,000- to 249,999-square-foot office building category. Transwestern, which provides leasing and property management services for the 228,350-square-foot property, will receive the notable honor during an awards banquet that will be held Oct. 23 at The Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange.

Presented by BOMA annually, the TOBY award highlights excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact across numerous categories. The New Jersey recipients are invited to submit their properties to the regional awards.

“Receiving this distinction among industry peers is a testament to the level of service provided by our exceptional property management team,” said Transwestern Partner and City Leader James Postell. “The northern New Jersey office market remains incredibly active, and the team at 180 Park Ave. continuously ensures the property remains among the most competitive in the state.”

The 180 Park Ave. management team is led by Portfolio Manager Connie Calantropio, Tenant Coordinator Denise Gigi and Assistant Chief Engineer Sylvester Roztoczynski. Agency Leasing services for the property are led by Postell, Vice President Dan Ligorner, and Managing Director Matt McDonough.

“Transwestern aims to provide a distinct tenant experience that consistently exceeds expectations across the board,” said Calantropio. “Our notion of success is maintaining a longstanding sense of satisfaction among all building occupants.”

The property is in Morris County, a strongly performing New Jersey submarket. 180 Park Ave. is adjacent to The Green at Florham Park, a 268-acre, master-planned campus featuring the new headquarters and training facility for the New York Jets, BASF’s North American headquarters, AVE at Florham Park, and a Summit Medical Group facility.

Florham Park provides convenient access to Routes 24 and 10, as well as Interstates 287, 78, and 80. 180 Park Ave. is in proximity to downtown Morristown, with a wide selection of retail, dining, and entertainment options, as well as access to NJ Transit rail services.

This award comes on the heels of 300 Kimball Drive in Parsippany, another Transwestern-managed property, receiving the Grand TOBY Award, BOMA New Jersey’s highest honor, in 2017.
