Monica Brown is a Project Manager for the Transwestern Atlanta construction and development department. In this role, she oversees the day to day operations of multiple construction projects including healthcare, tenant occupied spaces, and unoccupied spaces. She is responsible for total project management, controlling budgets, planning, scheduling, and being the liaison among all stakeholders. Monica holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineers, resulting in successful construction experiences.


Monica has 15 years of commercial property management experience in the Atlanta market. Prior to joining Transwestern, she worked with RPO Property Management and Cushman & Wakefield in a property accountant role of an office park 1.2 million square feet consisting of 11 buildings. She maintained records of assets and funds, preparing portfolios, drawing up budgets, setting up escrow accounts, and preparing financial statements. Monica administered her accounting abilities for 4 years after leaving the operational sector of property management. Her experience of 10 years in property management has helped her understand the specific needs for relevant project information and the importance of delivering information in a timely and meaningful manner. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with various clients.


While earning her BA Degree, Monica declared her minor in Project Management. She has achieved LEED Certification and Studied her RPA designation at BOMA Georgia.
