As a Senior Graphic Designer in Transwestern’s in-house marketing department, his ability to infuse a sense of brand and individuality to a place and methodology to solve complex problems are valuable assets to Transwestern and its clients. Matt focuses on creating visual solutions in the areas of brand identity, information and environmental graphics.


Prior to joining Transwestern, Matt was a senior graphic designer at Nelson where he managed and directed new project photography, reviewed materials for quality and consistency, presented final layouts to internal and external clients, and implemented and designed the firm’s new holdings company marketing materials.
During his career in commercial real estate, Matt has spearheaded the space branding and wayfinding projects for well-known organizations properties such as Walgreens, Loyola University, United Airlines (Heathrow International Airport), 360 West Hubbard, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Harrington College of Design, and Barneys New York. In addition to his space branding experience, Matt has created internal brand identities for client such as Solomon Cordwell Buenz, Visual-ology, Donna Rotunno, Cazares Landscaping, Finny & Frankie, and Bentley Academy of Irish Dance.
Prior to working in commercial real estate, Matt managed a $16 million department at Nordstrom in Chicago, which gives him a unique first-hand understanding of luxury client relations and sales.

Matt received his B.F.A. in visual communication design from Harrington College of Design.
