In his role as Senior Vice President of Healthcare Project Management and Construction Services, Mark oversees the planning, design and construction of healthcare projects to ensure that Transwestern is delivering exceptional service and value to our clients. Mark promotes teamwork and communication to deliver a successful project.


Mark has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry with the last 16 years focused on delivering $2.6B in healthcare/life sciences projects and serving in a variety of roles from commissioning manager to program manager.    
Most recently Mark was on the team that completed a $700M, 957,000sf hospital with a cath labs, iMRI suite, pre-op, PACU, imaging and a gamma knife while managing PM teams across 6 other campuses that were involved with everything from interior renovations to additions/expansions to construction of an entire campus.
Mark has worked directly with the Owner’s master planning team to review proposed scope (new & renovation), prepare ROM estimates for use in presentations to hospital executive management, generate overall project schedules and provided input on constructability & phasing options as the master plans evolved.
Mark’s experience also includes a $300M 438,640 SF medical research laboratory which included 70,000 SF of vivarium with a BSL-3 lab, a cyclotron/hot cell lab, an imaging suite with PET, SPECT and MRI, a cGMP facility, surgical training floor and a 240-seat auditorium.
Mark has also worked on a $347M Outpatient Facility consisting of 777,290sf with an 8-story tower and 3-story underground garage for ambulatory treatment, minor surgery, radiology and oncology facility.
During his career Mark has worked on projects for MD Anderson, Houston Methodist Hospital and the Texas Medical Center.
