TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Mark Glagola is the Senior Managing Director of Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets Group. He specializes in investment sales, joint venture development and equity financing for Office and Industrial Product throughout the Mid Atlantic.
 
Mark also co-leads Transwestern’s National Industrial Group coordinating the company’s capital market efforts for institutions nationwide.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Mark is a 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. He began his career in leasing and now specializes in institutional acquisition/sales and development. In the last 16 years, he has been involved in the acquisition of over 20 million square feet of product for clients and executed over $8 billion in sales. In the past two years alone, Mark sold more than 3 million square feet valued at over $400 million.
 
Some of his clients have included Cabot Properties, Industrial Property Trust, State Farm, Liberty Property Trust, ORIX, Invesco, AEW, American Realty Advisors, NYSTRS, First Industrial, Morgan Stanley, Principal Life Insurance, RREEF, UBS and Atapco.

EDUCATION

 Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Maryland and Virginia.
