Marc joined Transwestern's Midwest Region in 2011 as managing director of the Investment Services Group. He, along with partner Andrew Watson, established and leads the National Net Lease and Sale Leaseback group.


With 16 years of commercial real estate experience, Marc joined Transwestern from Baum Realty Group where he served as vice president on the investment sales team. During his four year tenure, he was involved in more than 100 transactions valued at over $300 million, including approximately 40 single tenant net lease property sales. In addition to his daily responsibilities at Baum, Marc was responsible for vision, planning and business development. He helped develop, implement and manage a lender services program offering lenders specific services related to troubled assets including valuation, leasing, development completion, management, receivership and sale.
Prior to Baum, Marc spent six years as an investment sales broker for the buyer brokerage firm Hansen Realty sourcing development sites and condo conversion properties for developers in the Chicago MSA and southeast Florida, totaling more than $500 million. Marc's clients include numerous notable companies such as General Electric, Cole Capital, Inland Real Estate, Mesirow and Home Depot.
Before beginning his career in real estate, Marc spent nine years as a chef in restaurants that included Lettuce Entertain You's Mity Nice Grill and Big Bowl as well as three star rated Meritage and Spruce.

Marc received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois. He is a licensed Managing Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois.
