Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Manuel has been with Transwestern for eight years and has more than 30 years of HVAC, building and engineering experience. He currently serves at Metro Park as a Building Engineer in a portfolio of seven, Class A buildings. Manuel functions as a senior technician of a group of building engineers responsible for the seamless operation of Metro Park, performing and documenting preventive maintenance work, completing repairs and working with contractors. Manuel is also responsible for the maintenance of a large parking structure. He works directly with property and engineering management, providing expertise and technical views.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before joining Transwestern, Manuel worked for The John Akridge Company, the maintenance division of Arlington County and The Dittmar Company. Among the many projects Manuel has worked, he was instrumental in the very complex upgrade of an EMS system and the modernization to LED lighting of several Metro Park buildings and was involved in the process to obtain LEED Silver Certification for 6350 Walker Lane.
