Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Lauren provides tenant advisory and workplace strategy in New York City. She is also dedicated to expanding Transwestern’s client relationships throughout the Northeast region.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Lauren has successfully completed more than one million square feet in leasing transactions. Since joining Transwestern, Lauren has represented a broad range of clients across various industries including Prologis, Silver Lane Advisors (now Raymond James), Charles Tyrwhitt, Alliance Bernstein, KIPP Foundation and American Friends of the Hebrew University. She was also responsible for leasing 37 West 57th Street, 370 Lexington Avenue, 16 East 34th Street and 645 Fifth Avenue.
 
Before joining Transwestern in 2012, Lauren served as the director of business development at the Empire State Building. In this role, she focused on marketing and leasing the nearly three million square foot building. Lauren was involved in over 500,000 square feet of leasing transactions during her tenure, including Li & Fung and LinkedIn. She was responsible for executing a consolidation program and played an integral role in designing/marketing newly developed prebuilt suites.
 
Lauren began her career in real estate at Cushman & Wakefield. As an associate in the Global Business Development Group, Lauren represented institutional clients such as TIAA-CREF and Citigroup.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Lauren is currently President of The Penn Club of New York and a member of the Board of Directors of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, a non-profit that redistributes excess food to feed people experiencing food insecurity. She is a supporter of Action Against Hunger and the One Acre Fund, both extraordinary world hunger organizations.
 
Connect Media selected Lauren for the 2019 “Women in Real Estate” awards and Real Estate Forum has recognized Lauren as one of “Tomorrow’s Leaders.”

EDUCATION

Lauren received an MBA degree from NYU Stern and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
