TRANSWESTERN ROLE

General Manager Laura Rogers oversees a team of property managers and engineers at five Northern Virginia properties totaling more than 1.09 million square feet. She manages daily operations, tenant relations, budgets, financial reporting, vendor contracts, and tenant and capital improvement projects. She believes in a hands-on approach to achieve positive results with vision, personal integrity, entrepreneurial spirit and a high expectation for quality.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Laura has more than 20 years of experience in property management. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2015, she served as a senior property manager for Penzance, where she utilized four separate accounting platforms to support clients. She also previously served in various management roles at Cassidy Turley, Akridge, Peterson Companies and Safeway.
 
She managed the $35.5 million renovation and rebranding of Chevy Chase Pavilion, an 895,000-square-foot mixed-use property in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The project was awarded a TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) award for Renovated Building by the Apartment and Office Building Association.
 
Throughout her career, Laura has managed Class A office, mixed-use, retail, residential and industrial properties, including a 2.5 million-square-foot management assignment. Her background includes experience in new software implementation, demolitions, new development, renovations and ownership transitions.
