TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Laney Underwood provides financial analysis, lease structure and market research for Transwestern’s Agency Leasing team in North Texas, supporting major clients such as KBS, Spear Street Capital, Clarion Partners and M-M Properties. She serves as a client communicator on leasing projects, assisting in developing relationships and supporting lease negotiations. She is responsible for over 3.1 million square feet throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.
 
Laney joined the company in 2018 and is a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Major leases Laney has been involved with include:
  • The FDIC’s 163,000 SF lease at Plaza of the Americas at 700 N. Pearl Street in downtown Dallas.
  • Thompson Coe’s 69,130 SF renewal at Plaza of the Americas at 700 N. Pearl Street in downtown Dallas.
  • Prism Health North Texas, the largest HIV/AIDS organization in Dallas-Fort Worth, moving its 46,000-square-foot operations to the Baylor University Medical Center campus in East Dallas.
  • Capital Southwest Corporation relocating its 14,000-square-foot lease to Preston Center.

EDUCATION

A Dallas native, Laney received a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Texas at Austin, with a minor in Business Foundations. She is a licensed Texas Real Estate professional.
