As Chief Administrative Officer for Transwestern, Kurt oversees all administrative business activities and supports the implementation of processes and policies across the national platform. He also serves on the company's Executive Committee and Board of Directors, working closely with the company's leadership team to promote, support and measure Transwestern's aggressive growth initiatives.
Kurt honed his management skills at KPMG, where he advised Fortune 50 financial services and global manufacturing firms on change management and operational effectiveness. He joined Cassidy Turley in 2011 and quickly rose through the ranks, overseeing client accounting, leading the implementation of the company's ERP and CRM technology, and assuming the role of chief administrative officer in 2012. Over the next two years, he was responsible for various corporate administrative functions, including information technology, human resources, procurement and compliance, and directed the integration of four acquired companies.
In 2014, Kurt was named chief human resources officer of Cassidy Turley and served in this position through the company's merger with DTZ in 2015. As head of human resources, he oversaw a 40-person team that served approximately 3,000 employees and 800 real estate brokers nationally. In addition, he led numerous process improvement and technology projects to improve the employee experience, including a robust employee service center and performance management program.
Kurt is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. His ongoing professional development spans sociology, human resources, accounting and management information systems, and how these disciplines apply to business processes.
