Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Kimberlyn is a senior vice president with Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions group in Chicago where she focuses primarily on the Downtown Chicago office market. She is a part of a team led by Executive Vice Presidents John Ziesmer and Kevin Moore. Kimberlyn advises tenants on all concerns related to commercial office occupancy and is responsible for new client procurement and market intel.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern, Kimberlyn was an associate director at Avison Young. While at Avison Young, Kimberlyn and the team worked together to develop real estate strategies for clients to align their business objectives and operational goals. Kimberlyn got her start in the business as a senior associate at Grubb & Ellis identifying and pursuing revenue-generating opportunities and maintaining market intelligence. Prior to her entry in brokerage, Kimberlyn spent 15 years in marketing for General Motors and Navistar (International Harvester).
 
During her real estate career, Kimberlyn has represented clients such as Wells Fargo, Illinois State Bar Association, CardX, Press Ganey, My Chocolate Soul, Bridge to Success, ACPE, Noble Network Charter Schools, ProVest, Torshen Slobig & Axel, Crick Walanka Law Group and Cheiron.

EDUCATION

Kimberlyn received a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. She is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
