TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Kevin is an Executive Vice President with Transwestern’s Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions group in Chicago and Co-Founder of Transwestern’s Data Center Practice Group for the Midwest region. He brings over 20 years of experience to his role at Transwestern and offers sharp market intelligence capabilities and a strong knowledge of financial structuring and strategic planning. His expertise in representing users in the technology sector, as well as data center owners and operators, combined with his forward-thinking approach, allows him to not only resolve his client’s real estate needs but actively contribute to their ongoing development.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Throughout his 20-year career, Kevin has helped many space users capitalize on complex real estate solutions, negotiating transactions valued at over $2 billion on behalf of numerous corporate tenants in the Chicago metropolitan area and other major Midwest markets. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2018, Kevin was a Principal at Avison Young, where he co-led a tenant advisory team. He was a Vice President with Grubb & Ellis from 2007­–2011 and an Associate Director at Savills Studley from 2002–2007.
 
Kevin has represented clients such as McCain Foods, MakeOffices, Extreme Reach, Merisant, Northwestern Mutual, Wells Fargo, Press Ganey, Kids & Company, FINRA, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, Chemical Personnel Search and the Illinois State Bar Association.

EDUCATION

Kevin received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University of Ohio. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois. Kevin holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), in the areas of investment analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and financial analysis for commercial real estate. ­
