Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Ken serves as Vice President for Life Sciences Advisory Services in the Mid-Atlantic. He advises owners and users of biotech and lab spaces on portfolio management, asset acquisition and disposition, and lease negotiation and administration. In addition, Ken works with the Transwestern National Healthcare platform in continuing to grow client services.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Ken has been active in commercial real estate in the Mid-Atlantic region for over 20 years and has completed more than 20 million square feet of leasing and sales transactions. Before beginning his role at Transwestern, he was Vice President at Health-Pro Realty Group (HPRG), where he focused on healthcare-related real estate transactions in the D.C. region.
 
Prior to HPRG, he was Area Director at RMR, overseeing leasing, property management, construction and engineering in the D.C area. The portfolio comprised over 7.5 million square feet of commercial office space, including eight buildings totaling over one million square feet of medical office space.
 
He has worked with a variety of clients including Integrated Dermatology, Caddis, CWCapital, Foulger-Pratt, Carderock Investments, Saul Centers, Federal Realty, AMI Capital Management, Integrated Pharma, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, St. John Properties, Gosnell Properties, K&R Properties, The Tower Companies, Integrated Pharma, Theradaptive, Inc., Poochon Scientific and Microbiology International.

Ken received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
